Le sentier de découverte des truffières est le prolongement naturel de la visite du Musée.

A proximité immédiate du village de Sorges, c’est une agréable promenade de 3 km qui serpente à travers le causse périgourdin. On peut le parcourir librement avec l'aide d'un plan (à retirer au Musée) ou accompagné (sur rendez-vous).

Les visites guidées sont l’occasion de découvrir le biotope du diamant noir.

From this exceptional Ecomusée, you will be able to follow a path which will take you to the “truffières“ and enable you to understand the fascinating natural system of truffle cultivation.

This trail, which is close to the village, and complements a visit to the Ecomusée, is actually a pleasant 3 kms walk through the “causse périgourdin” . ( “causse “ is the name given to a limestone plateau ).

You can take the walk on your own – with a free map and notes which may be obtained from the Ecomusée– or with a guide, by appointment. The visit will help your understanding of the “Black Diamond “ , as ten observation points along its length will introduce you.
